I am so grateful to of been invited to share Fiery Fox with children in schools and libraries, with each visit leaving a lasting memory. It was lovely to see the children listening to every word of the story and answering questions when I paused, leading to some great discussions about fire safety, with the children contributing their invaluable knowledge and experiences. I also had lots of thought provoking and quite challenging questions about fiery fox given to me to answer about the story, as well as my book journey from children of all ages. The sessions ended with fox masks, colouring sheets and book marks to colour and a chance for me to chat with the children, staff and parents individually. I even got to read fiery fox to a few children who had missed the main story telling while at Evesham library. I really enjoyed spending time with the children and hope to visit more libraries and schools in the not so distant future, so if you would like an author visit for your school or organisation please email me for details.
